EAST DALLAS BUNGALOW
This 1950’s bungalow home was purchased by a growing family almost sight unseen. We had a little over two months to flip this 3 bedroom/2 [tiny] bathroom into a home large enough to accommodate their needs and still have room for out of town visitors. We wanted to create a master suite out of a bonus enclosed garage space, and the kitchen and bathrooms needed to be updated.
The house is perched on a hill with a sprawling deck covering the top half of the backyard. The previous owners had already installed the faux-wood tile flooring, so that was our inspiration behind the remodel. We pulled out the neutral grey tones from the tile, and added touches of white to open up the space and create a great palette.
