PARK CITIES COTTAGE
This 1930’s cottage was purchased by a newlywed couple after being a rental home for decades. Everything was worn down and needed to be either fixed or replaced. With three months left on their apartment lease, we got to work updating the kitchen and bathrooms, as well as giving all the walls, floors, and ceilings a complete facelift.
The couple’s style is very modern; they love clean lines and crisp color, nothing too busy. They had been living in new build apartments and townhomes for the past 6-7 years, so the main challenge was to update this 90 year old home to resemble a brand new space, while keeping the original cottage charm of the home, all within a reasonable budget. It can be done!
